Job Title: Accountant

 

Are you an experienced Accountant with a strong technical background in accounting and finance? Join our team and contribute to the financial health and success of our organisation.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compile and analyse account information to prepare entries for asset, liability, and capital accounts.
  • Document financial transactions, prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports.
  • Audit documents and recommend financial actions by analysing accounting options.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies while preparing accurate financial statements.
  • Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings and variance analyses.
  • Manage inter-company transactions, reconciliations, and foreign currency accounting.
  • Oversee VAT, property tax, and corporate tax returns.
  • Maintain fixed asset records and conduct balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Utilise QuickBooks to manage accounting processes and support management with financial insights.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting.
  • At least five years of general ledger accounting experience.
  • Strong technical accounting background with proficiency in GAAP.
  • Expertise in Excel, database management, and financial reporting tools.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact at all levels within the organisation.
