The ATM Technician will be responsible for the performance and availability of client ATMs

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

MC Systems is seeking to recruit a suitably\nqualified and experienced individual for the position of ATM Technician. the\nincumbent will be responsible for the performance and\navailability of client ATMs. They will also be required to perform\ngeneral maintenance tasks, troubleshoot and repair ATMs, computer systems and\nperipheral equipment for MC Systems’ customers in the field and for various\nprojects within stipulated time and quality standards of MC Systems.

 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure software and applications are maintained to the highest\nstandard with maximum levels of productivity and efficiency.
  • Responsible for installing new systems and the ongoing\nadministration and support of those systems.
  • Perform\nmachine diagnostics to verify the cause of the ATM failure and/or provide\npreventative maintenance as well as other customer-requested technical project\nactivities in servicing ATMs.  
  • Update\nassigned tickets on a daily basis
  • Achieve\nexcellence in customer service as reflected in customer satisfaction ratings\nand customer feedback
  • Document\nestimation and repair findings accurately and thoroughly, so that a clear\nhistory of the equipment is evident and available
  • Demonstrate\nunderstanding parts acquisition and inventory control, including requesting\nparts and supplies to ensure their availability
  • Troubleshoot\nequipment by telephone to assist customers with basic repairs
  • Perform\nrepairs according to established quality and time criteria and maintain\nstandard operating procedures, work instructions and other approved reference\nmaterial used for each estimate or repairs

REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Bachelor’s degree\nin Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Science, Math or related field.
  •  At least one\n(1) year experience working in an IT related field
  • CompTIA A+\nCertification
  • Network +\nand Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)
  • Must own a\nreliable motor vehicle
  • Must be willing to travel within and outside the country for\ntraining and work

  • Document estimation and repair findings accurately and thoroughly, so that a clear history of the equipment is evident and available
  • Demonstrate understanding parts acquisition and inventory control, including requesting parts and supplies to ensure their availability
  • Troubleshoot equipment by telephone to assist customers with basic repairs
  • Perform repairs according to established quality and time criteria and maintain standard operating procedures, work instructions and other approved reference material used for each estimate or repairs
