ET Transport is excited to announce our expansion into Kingston, Jamaica, and we are looking to fill a few key roles to help us grow! We are currently hiring for the following positions:
Accounting Salary: $1,500,000 JMD per annum
Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Accounts Receivable / Billings Clerk to join our dynamic team. This role is integral to ensuring the accuracy of our billing processes and maintaining excellent relationships with our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing, updating, and reviewing invoices, identifying and correcting errors prior to distribution.
- Requesting Proof of Delivery (POD) to close orders promptly.
- Responding to accounts receivable emails within designated timeframes.
- Maintaining customer files, processing credit memos, and issuing monthly statements.
- Uploading invoices into customers’ web portals.
- Generating twice-weekly reports on outstanding orders and bond charges.
- Coordinating with the accounting team regarding lumper receipts and creating warehouse invoices as required.
- Developing and maintaining positive client relationships by addressing inquiries and resolving concerns efficiently.
- Supporting the team lead or manager with additional assigned tasks.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in computers and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- At least one year of experience in accounts receivable or a related field is an asset.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks is an asset.
- A bachelor’s degree is an asset.
- Typing speed of at least 30 words per minute.
- Self-motivated with a strong problem-solving ability.
- Excellent collaboration, multitasking, and prioritization skills
- Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Dispatcher Salary: $1,560,000.00 per annum
Key Responsibilities
- Working with customers, shippers, receivers, and trucking companies via telephone and email
- Locating and booking loads (if needed): FTL, LTL, cross-border
- Dispatch/Coordinate and manage driver runs and schedules
- Prepare inbound and outbound customs clearance
- Maintain data entries to ensure accurate records and input dispatches into the dispatch management system
- Prepare Drivers pay
- After-hours dispatch via phone/email (rotational/on-call)
- Prepare management/company reports
- Fully responsible for up to 10 trucks
- Additional tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- 2 years of dispatching experience
- Knowledge of and master the following: LoadLink, Dispatch Software is an asset
- ACE, ACI, Outlook, and Microsoft applications
- Fluent in English, bilingual is an asset
- Team player in a fast-paced environment
- Strong ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to communicate over the phone
- Be persuasive and energetic
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 7:00 am to 4:30 pm & 8:00 am to 5:30 pm. Be available after hours (on-call rotation)
Sales Salary: $1,700,000 JMD per annum
POSITION SUMMARY

As a Load Booker, you’ll take charge of securing freight opportunities, building strong client relationships, and keeping our trucks moving efficiently. This is the perfect opportunity for a smooth talker who knows how to close deals, negotiate rates, and connect with clients while thriving in a fast-paced environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify and book shipments for Full Truckload (FTL) and Less-than-Truckload (LTL) cross-border and interstate trucks using load boards, software, and other shipment sourcing tools.
- Secure a minimum of 20 loads per day and ensure thorough follow-up and record-keeping for each booking.
- Maintain accurate data entry and comprehensive records for all booked loads to ensure efficiency and compliance.
- Establish and strengthen relationships with brokers and customers over the phone and by email to drive repeat business and expand freight lanes.
- Source new customers to develop and expand the company’s client base.
- Calculate competitive rates and submit bids on Requests for Proposal (RFPs) in collaboration with brokers and customers.
- Work closely with dispatchers and planners to ensure all booked shipments are communicated effectively, minimizing delays and issues.
- Prepare reports and support additional duties as required by management, ensuring compliance and alignment with company goals.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 3 years of experience in load booking or a related sales role; knowledge of the trucking industry and logistics is a strong advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Loadlink, DAT, and similar freight sourcing tools is a plus.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals and persuade clients effectively.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask, meet tight deadlines, and perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients and brokers via phone and email.
- A team-oriented, persuasive, energetic professional who is motivated to drive results and build strong relationships.
