Raw Material Storeroom Clerk

This Raw Material Storeroom Clerk is responsible for receiving, storing, assembling, and issuing raw materials to produce finished goods.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 

1. Pre-weigh and prepare materials as outlined.
2. Receive all raw materials from vendors.
3. Issuing raw materials to production as per production schedule promptly.
4. Raw material stocktaking.
5. Completing all records pertinent to job function.
6. Maintaining good housekeeping in the work area.
7. Adhering to all food safety guidelines.
8. Any other related duties.

• Forklift operating skills. 
• Good customer service. 
• Punctual.
• Good attendance.
• Accuracy.
• Extremely organized.
• Completes tasks on time.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both written and orally.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum High School graduate.
• Experience in a similar capacity.
• Warehouse training would be an asset.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• This position requires rotation through 24-hour shifts. 
• The employee may be required to push and pull bulk materials and lift and/or carry up to 120 pounds.
• Work may routinely require the employee to climb, bend, stoop, kneel, and/or crouch.
• This position will be held accountable for shortages and variances of stock if left under their purview.
• Long hours, including evenings and weekends are required to meet deadlines.
