ACCOUNTS CLERK – GENERAL

Job Title: Accounts Clerk – General

Areas of Responsibilities:

1. Daily deposit
2. Maintenance of cash sales and cash receipts records
3. Checking daily cash sales and monitoring of payments
   
4. Preparation of reports for foreign suppliers
   
5. Handling of petty cash and maintenance of petty cash records
6. Preparation of petty cash vouchers
7. Bank reconciliations
8. Assist with the preparation of audit schedules
9. Updating serial numbers listing for both charge and cash sales customers
10. Weekly payroll and preparation of salary vouchers
11. Batching of cash sales and receipts
12. Monitoring of expiry dates on insurance coverage for vehicles
13. Maintaining records for machines on rental
14. Assist in the automation process to Microsoft Navision/LS Retail
15. Filing

Qualifications & Experience:

1. Proficient in Microsoft Excel
2. At least 2 years’ experience in a similar position
3. Excellent oral & communication skills
4. Completed at least ACCA Level 1 or equivalent
5. Five CXC O’ levels, including Mathematics and English
6. Knowledge in Peachtree would be an asset
7. Knowledge of Microsoft Navision would be an asset

2. Valid form of identification
3. Certificate of character from the Trinidad & Tobago Police Service
