 ASSISTANT BAR MANAGER 

The successful applicant will be assisting the manager in the day to day operations of the Resort’s Beverage outlets. He or she will be responsible for the supervision of the bar and beverage service department and consistently strives to exceed guest expectations and provide the highest level of service.  

Specific Requirements/Duties of the Position Include: 

• Knowledge of first-class international resort beverage operation practices.
• The ability to train and maintain training programs.
• The ability to manage stress and work long hours.
• Demonstrated knowledge of planning and goal setting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• The ability to lead and motivate team members.

  Qualifications and Experience:

• Five years’ experience in managing luxury hotel beverage operations and the ability to maintain the highest quality.
• Some formal training or equivalent apprenticeship training.

The successful applicant will be responsible for performing his or her duties in accordance with standard operating procedures. The ideal candidate will take memorable pictures of people, events, places and objects.

 Specific Requirements/Duties of the Position Include:  

• Technical understanding of photography.

• Knowledge of transmission, broadcasting, switching, control, and operation of telecommunications systems.
• Consistently offering professional, friendly and engaging service.

• Possessing strong sales and communication skills.
• The ability to work flexible hours and being an excellent team player. 

Qualifications and Experience:

• 5 CXC or ‘O’ Level Subjects
• Certification in the field of Photography
• Knowledge of operating a Nikon camera would be an advantage.
• Three (3) years’ experience in a similar position.

WATERSPORTS ATTENDANT

The successful candidate will maintain the resort’s beach and swimming area. He or she will assist and instruct the guests regarding the proper usage of watersports equipment, maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for both guests and team members.  

 Specific Requirements/Duties of the Position Include:

• Demonstrated knowledge of and the ability to use and instruct guests on the proper usage of all Watersports equipment.
• Expertise in utilising a hobie cat, hobie wave, sunfish, windsurfer, surf bike and kayak.
• Maintaining guest safety during all lessons.
• The ability to work in a multi-cultural/diverse environment.
• Exceptional physical fitness

 Qualifications and Experience:

• Certified PADI/NAUI Instructor.
• A valid lifeguard license
• CPR and First Aid certified
• Coxswain license to operate vessels which may be under your command.

The Human Resources Manager will support the General Manager to deliver expert guidance, coaching and support on the full range of HR activities. Activities include efficient administration and management of the function to ensure Team Member engagement, consistent administration of HR programmes and policies, and compliance with statutory requirements to achieve departmental objectives. 

Specific Requirements/Duties of the Position Include:

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Effectively implementing HR Policies and Procedures
• Having knowledge of local labour laws
• Having excellent knowledge of dispute resolution
• Ability to effectively influence stakeholders
• Ability to be flexible with work schedule with a possible 5 or 6 day work week 

Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree in Human Resources Management or a related discipline
• A minimum of three years in an HR leadership role
• Working knowledge of Microsoft suite of applications including Office, Outlook and Excel
• Familiarity with HR information systems

• Project management skills would be an asset
