Writers wanted – play your part in the UWI-Caricom project
Dare to desire an integrated Caribbean ! Prove that you are one of the young men or women of the Caribbean Community that the Secretary General of CARICOM had in mind when he recently proclaimed: “Integration is not for the weak of heart”
The future of Caribbean integration relies upon and indeed resides on you, the youth, wherever you are situated in this Caribbean Community. Make your voices heard and prove to the world that regional integration cannot be labeled a mere buzz word or at best the domain of the region’s political class.
The University of the West Indies and the CARICOM Secretariat established an arrangement – the UWI-CARICOM Project, to provide you with a forum to make your voices heard through the penmanship of articles or other modes of active expression which will be carried in their ‘ Integrationist Quarterly ‘ magazine.
A platform has at last been provided for the youth of our Caribbean to offer their perspectives on regional integration and development issues!
Do not miss this golden opportunity to write, sketch or draw your views as well as reflect on those of other youths, students and young professionals around the region and the Diaspora.
