The April 2009 intake brought RDI their 500th University of Wales student for their online degree programmes in the Caribbean.
RDI’s Regional Director, Andrew Cawley, made a presentation to Marlon Bobb-Semple on July 1st at the Hyatt Hotel in Port of Spain, Trinidad where Marlon resides. This marks a significant milestone for the RDI/University of Wales partnership and demonstrates the allure of the programmes and their flexibility which is ideally suited for working executives.
The chance to network 24/7 with fellow students around the world seems to have captured everyone’s interest. Marlon is studying the MBA with Wales and he was attracted to the programme for its case study based assessment and also because it gives him the option of accelerating his studies and completing in one year should his busy schedule permit.
The University of Wales offers a pathway to the MBA for senior executives without an undergraduate degree through the Master’s Entry Diploma in Management and this has also proved very popular.
RDI represents a number of leading UK institutions and is the world’s largest provider of UK online and distance education programmes.
They have recently enhanced their traditional provision of business management programmes by complementing these with degrees in education, law, psychology and hospitality.
