Watersports Manager

Job Overview:

You will be responsible for the watersports operation and will guarantee the effective management and organization of the watersport department whilst ensuring your team deliver the highest level of instruction and safety.

Duties and responsibilities:

• To maintain an excellent standard of customer service
• Assist in the preparation, organization, delivery, and the running of activities for all guests both on and off the water.
• Ensure safety cover is of the highest standard from both the beach and safety boats.
• To ensure the highest standard of health and safety is adhered to and that guests are advised on the practical/safe use of all equipment.
• To take personal responsibility for the maintenance, repair, and security of all watersport’s equipment
• To ensure that the appearance of the beach, and beach equipment always meets guest expectations.
• To set up, pack up, and help all guests use our equipment each day.
• To assist in the organization and hosting of social events, delivering briefings and always be happy to interact with guests at all times.
• Experience or working knowledge of Kayaking and Snorkeling.
• Manage staff reviews, appraisals and any disciplinary or grievances matters.
• Ensure all new staff follow an induction programme, are mentored, and trained.
• Ensure all watersports staff are trained, motivated, appraised and developed in a positive and effective manner.

Qualification:

• 5 years’ experience as a Watersports manager
• Bachelor’s degree
• Good communication skills
