Audit Manager and Supervisor

Responsibilities include:

Managing a portfolio of clients. Liaising with partners.

Anticipating, identifying and addressing Clients’ concerns and issues promptly. Developing and maintaining working relationships with Clients.

Managing and mentoring audit teams, promoting a team-oriented environment.

Leading audits in line with adopted audit methodology, ensuring quality, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness. Reviewing working papers prepared by audit staff, ensuring standards are adhered to.

Maintaining direct daily contact with clients, managing audit processes, and communicating findings and recommendations.

Filing tax returns as required by the Income Tax Act (ITA).

Apply an in-depth understanding of complex accounting and auditing concepts to effectively manage and execute engagements.

Preparing for and participating in Firm sponsored and other training. Performing fieldwork on assigned Clients, as appropriate.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (or equivalent) Accounting designation: ACCA, CA, CPA or near completion. 

Manager

• 2 to 6 years of Post Qualification Experience, with at least eight years’ prior progressive experience in practice. 

Supervisor

• Qualified with at least 6 years’ experience in practice. Strong analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities.

Experience with DataSnipper and other technologies would be valuable asset.
