The Role

 This position is the liaison between the Security Manager and Guardsman Limited. The operational support to the Operations Manager in maintaining client relationship within the zone of our internal clients.

What You'll Be Doing

• Monitor and give supervision to Operation Coordinators, Shift Supervisors, Seniors and all other subordinates

• Monitor the Security Operations Centre (SOC)
• Attend joint interviews between the new officers and the client for suitability purpose
• Facilitate orientation for new hires
• Accountability of all Company Assets and equipment
• Manage fleet of vehicle assigned to location
• Provide direction and maintain discipline throughout the guard force
• Evaluation and assessment of all officers in the operations
• Attends daily management meeting chaired by the Security Manager/Security Coordinator

A Little Bit About You

• Must be armed with valid Firearm Users Permit (Employer or Personal)
• Must be physically fit
• Possess excellent customer service skills
• Have a strong knowledge of security and emergency operations
• Must have no criminal record
• Be able to work independently while also being a team player
• Must be able to prepare written reports and logs in neat and legible handwriting
• Read, understand and clearly speak English while communicating with security officers to give and receive instructions, using cell phone and radio

Minimum Qualifications/Experience

• First Degree in Business Administration; or related discipline
• NCTVET Level 2 in Industrial Security Operations would be an asset
• At least 2-years security experience or previous experience as a Police/Military would be an asset
• A valid General Driver’s Licence (3000kg)
• Must be armed with valid Firearm Users Permit (Employer or Personal)
