Job Description
The Operations Manager is responsible for monitoring/enhancing the performance of the productivity unit to ensure that targets are being met. The incumbent will be required to provide support to the Senior Manager in the execution of the Company’s objectives while providing excellent customer service to our valued clients. The Operations Manager must demonstrate professionalism and confidentiality in the execution of duties.
Duties and Responsibilities
All duties assigned by the Senior Manager and the Board of Directors of the Company to include the following:
- Set and monitor daily, weekly and monthly goals and develop best method for reaching those goals.
- Ensure that systems and policies are strictly adhered to by staff members
- Responsible for monthly team meetings and One on One meetings with staff
- Supervise Collection Officers, Administrative Staff & office attendant
- Ensure that clients reports are provided by the Officers on a timely basis
- Check Collection Officers invoices on a monthly basis
- Liaise with the senior/middle managers of the institutions and attend to correspondences
- Assist in the interview process of new team members
- Monitor calls for quality assurance and provide feedback
- Train new collection officers
- Check attendance register
- Assign accounts to Officers
- Monitor stationery supplies.
- Maintain adequate attendance and adhere to company policies
Requirements and qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from a recognized Tertiary Institution
- A minimum of two years supervisory experience
- Proficient computer skills, especially using Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Highly effective interpersonal skills with an ability to partner with leaders across the organization
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to think strategically
