JOB SUMMARY
To provide IT support services inclusive of network support, communications, troubleshooting system issues and maintaining IT systems both onshore and offshore.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Employee’s Duties are as follows:
HSSE
- Ensure safe maintenance activity.
- Engender a culture of continuous HSSE performance improvement.
- Complies with audit schedules as per Company’s policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Department: IT
- Manage Level 1 to Level 3 helpdesk requests to ensure swift resolution.
- Configure and maintain onshore and offshore IT systems and networks to meet organizational requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams and offshore partners to ensure seamless integration of systems and technologies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, including hardware and software, in onshore and offshore locations.
- Implement security best practices to protect data and infrastructure in both environments.
- Perform system upgrades, migrations and maintenance tasks onshore and offshore.
- Monitor system performance, analyse data and make proactive recommendations for improvements.
- Work with onshore and offshore teams to plan and execute disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.
- Provide on-call support and respond to critical incidents in both onshore and offshore locations.
- Generate and provide weekly and monthly reports on technology performance and status to management.
- Work closely with operations teams to ensure that technology equipment aligns with plant processes and offshore operations, contributing to the organization’s operational goals.
- Serve as the primary contact for technology contractors, ensuring business-critical support services (CCTV, ACM and Microwave Infrastructure) are delivered effectively.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to onshore and offshore operations.
- Stay informed about emerging threats and vulnerabilities and implement strategies to protect systems from cyberattacks including intrusion detection and prevention measures.
- Participate in an on-call rotation schedule with other team members to ensure continuous coverage.
- Be available and reachable during on-call hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Participate in the development and testing of emergency response plans.
- Contribute to the improvement of incident response procedures.

COMPETENCIES
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
- IT certifications in Microsoft, networking, cloud platforms and security solutions would be an asset.
- Five (5) years proven experience in server management, update management, networking, disaster recovery and security solutions.
- Three (3) years experience in managing projects.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS & Azure. Knowledge of cloud architecture and services.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
- Proficient in developing and maintaining documentation for IT systems.
- Excellent communication skills.
