We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly ethical Compliance Manager to lead and manage the company’s regulatory and internal compliance framework. The Compliance Manager will ensure all company policies, procedures, and operations align with Jamaican laws, industry regulations, and international best practices related to the security industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures.
Monitor all company activities to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements (e.g., PSRA regulations, labor laws, and safety standards).
Conduct regular internal audits and risk assessments to detect potential compliance issues.
Liaise with regulatory bodies, ensuring timely and accurate reporting and licensing requirements.
Investigate and respond to compliance violations or concerns, recommending corrective actions.
Provide training and guidance to staff on compliance-related matters.
Maintain accurate records of compliance activities, including audits, investigations, and reports.
Stay informed on changes in laws and regulations affecting the security industry.
Collaborate with HR, Operations, and other departments to ensure cohesive and consistent compliance enforcement.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Risk Management, or related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, or a similar role—preferably in the security or law enforcement sector.
Knowledge of Jamaican regulatory requirements (e.g., PSRA, labour laws, health and safety).
Experience conducting audits and implementing compliance programs.
Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and report-writing abilities.
High ethical standards and a commitment to confidentiality.
Preferred:
Experience in the private security industry.
Certification in Compliance, Risk Management, or related areas.
Familiarity with ISO standards or other international compliance frameworks.
