The Process Coordinator is a supervisory role responsible for the efficient and effective production of syrup at our processing facility. This position ensures the highest standards of quality, safety, and operational excellence are maintained throughout the syrup processing operations.

Job Description

The Process Coordinator key responsiblities include; 

• Syrup Processing Operations: Coordinate the entire syrup processing operations to meet production demands and quality standards.
• Schedule Optimization: Monitor and optimize syrup preparation schedules.
• Quality Control: Implement and enforce production procedures and quality control measures. Conduct regular inspections and testing of raw materials and finished products.
• Team Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the work of syrup production staff. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
• Training: Train new employees on production processes, safety protocols, and quality standards. Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions for production staff.
• Sanitation Protocols: Develop and enforce thorough cleaning and sanitation protocols for all equipment, production areas, and utensils. Coordinate with cleaning staff to ensure thorough and regular cleaning schedules are maintained. Conduct periodic audits of cleaning procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Issue Resolution: Address any sanitation-related issues promptly and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence. Address and resolve any quality issues promptly.
• Inventory Management: Monitor and manage syrup raw material inventory levels.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Investigate and address any safety incidents or violations.

Education and Qualification Requirements

• Must attain a B.Sc. in Chemical and Process Engineering (preferred), Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Must attain proven proficency in:
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze production data and implement process improvements.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends, as needed.
