GENERALJOBPURPOSE/SUMMARY
We are seeking a skilled Webmaster to manage and maintain our company’s website and online presence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development, content management, and digital marketing. You will be responsible for ensuring our website is user-friendly, visually appealing, and optimized for performance.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
- Oversee the day-to-day operation of the company’s website.
- Ensure website is up-to-date with the latest content, features, and security measures.
- Monitor website performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise. e.g taking photographs and uploading new arrivals images etc.
- Manage the order process by checking the order queue and dispatching it to the necessary departments for processing.
- Identify and fix website errors, broken links, and performance issues.
- Coordinate with developers and hosting providers for advanced troubleshooting.
- Optimize website speed and mobile responsiveness.
- Implement SEO strategies to improve search engine rankings.
- Optimize content and metadata for better visibility.
- Track and analyze website traffic using Google Analytics or other tools.
- Make updates to the website’s code, layout, and structure as needed.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile-friendly design.
- Implement new features and functionalities using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or CMS platforms.
- Ensure the website adheres to legal and industry standards
- Manage SSL certificates, firewalls, and other security protocols.
- Protect against cyber threats, malware, and unauthorized access.
- Work with marketing, IT, and content teams to align the website with business goals.
- Provide training to staff on website management, if needed.
- Document website processes and technical changes.
- Analyze user behavior and feedback to enhance website Design and produce high-quality graphics, illustrations, and layouts for promotional materials, advertisements, websites, and social media platforms.

Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience with website hosting, DNS management, and web security best practices.
- Strong knowledge of SEO principles and Google Analytics.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical website issues.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
