Job Description
Job title: Property Officer
Under the direct supervision of the Property Manager, the incumbent will be responsible to ensure timely, effective and efficient maintenance of the Bank’s building and other critical property support services.
- Coordinates the preventative maintenance program for all assigned office buildings and other properties.
- Identifies and negotiates prices with suppliers for building and other materials to ensure that a consistent high quality of goods and services are delivered.
- Coordinates the acquisition and distribution of office supplies, appliances, equipment and furniture and other related spares as required.
- Coordinates repairs and construction projects; Supervise/oversee planned refurbishing/maintenance works carried out by external contractors/tradesmen.
- Performs minor repair works/resolutions where necessary to include repairs to infrastructure, plumbing, electrical facilities and other equipment.
- Analyze and investigate maintenance problems, report findings and recommend solutions to the Supervisor.
- Plans and develop a preventative maintenance schedule and ensure work is carried out according to specifications.
- Undertakes a comprehensive inspection of all properties to ensure buildings are in good condition and report those in need of repairs and/or upgrade.
- Collaborate with the Supervisor to prepare and submit annual work plans.
- Contributes to the formulation of the Department’s budget.
- Oversee vehicle maintenance and ensure vehicle documentation is updated and the vehicle functions efficiently.
- Provides security system support to reset and set up security codes for NPCB.
- Regular inspect building structures and properties to identify defective components to ensure any potential hazards are corrected, repaired or eliminated.
- Organizing office move-in and out or relocating office furniture/ equipment
- Assists with annual health and safety inspections, evaluations and recommendations.
- Ensure all properties are covered by insurance and that the property tax is paid on a timely basis.

Minimum Required Qualification and Experience
A diploma in Construction Management or related discipline from a recognized tertiary institution.
A minimum of two (2) years’ working experience in a similar capacity.
Training in Property Management would be a distinct advantage.
Special Conditions Associated with the Job:
May be required to work beyond and outside of normal working hours in emergencies or to meet project deadlines.
