JOB OPPORTUNITY
TEMPORARY ACCOUNTING & ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
(5-MONTH CONTRACT)
Location: Port of Spain
Salary: $6,000.00 per month
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly in the correct general ledger and transactions are adequately supported
- Processing and recording daily and monthly transactions and ensuring that monthly journal entries are recorded
- Preparing cheque payment vouchers, cheques and online payments
- Maintaining customer confidence and protecting operations by keeping financial information confidential
- Accounts receivable and credit customer management
- Answering phone calls, emails and directing inquiries
- Preparing of letters, project documents and reports as required
- Maintaining and organizing financial records and documents
- Filing, scanning and photocopying documents
- Preparing and sending invoices and other financial documents
Qualifications and Experience:
- Pursuing (AAT) or (ACCA) qualifications
- Minimum three (3) years accounting experience
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks)
