GCG Catering Jamaica is a member of the GCG Group which operates in 21 countries across the US, Caribbean, Central and South America. We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated individual to join the team in the capacity of Operations Manager at our Montego Bay location.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Implement and monitor systems and procedures to ensure compliance with operational, administrative, and governmental regulations.
Conduct regular inspections to maintain high standards in safety, hygiene, and customer service.
Investigate customer complaints and implement corrective measures to enhance service delivery.
Analyze financial and operational reports to identify opportunities for increased profitability and recommend cost-effective solutions.
Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and security standards, conducting regular audits and implementing corrective actions where necessary.
Maintain the facility in a hygienic and safe condition, coordinating with relevant departments to ensure operational efficiency.
ACADEMIC & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or Hospitality Management.
Proven experience in operations management, preferably within the aviation catering or hospitality industry.
Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple departments effectively.
Sound knowledge of safety, hygiene, and quality standards relevant to the aviation catering industry.
Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management and cost control.
