Marketing & Social Media Specialist
Overview: Develop, manage, analyze and co-ordinate marketing activities and social media initiatives and data to provide insights and recommendations that drive strategic decision-making, optimize campaign performance, improve brand awareness and company revenue. The role requires a combination of analytical skills, creative skills, traditional and digital marketing expertise and a deep understanding of social media platforms and trends.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage the company’s social media strategic plan to achieve maximum online exposure for the Park and its activities among the target markets.
- Develop, execute and monitor the digital strategy across all social media platforms.
- Manage and optimize social media channels, including content creation and community engagement.
- Assist with the implementation of social media advertising campaigns to increase brand awareness, engagement and conversations.
- Assist with the development of marketing strategies, marketing campaigns, plans and budgets.
- Assist with the development of new revenue-generating business opportunities at the park.
- Monitor social media conversations, trends and audience sentiments, responding promptly and appropriately.
- Provide regular analytics and evaluate KPIs on all social media campaigns.
- Monitor and track all online activity of the company’s competitors.
- Manage content and design of company’s website.
- Update all park promotional materials, kits and channels, including email marketing.
- Assist with the management of marketing related events at the park during operations.
- Prepare regular reports to communicate marketing and social media performance.
- Any other related duties within the marketing department.
Education and Experience
- 3 to 5 years working experience in the respective field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Digital Marketing or related field.
- Proven experience in marketing, social media management or related roles.
- In-depth knowledge of digital marketing principles, including email marketing and social media advertising.
- Familiarity with social media platforms (eg Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, You-Tube) and social media management tools.
- Familiarity with branding and marketing principles and consumer behaviour.
- Graphic design and/or Photography or Video production skills or qualifications would be a valuable asset.
