We invite applicants for the position of:
Vault Clerk
OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION:
The Vault Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate records which includes reconciling cashier’s tills, preparing change orders, and ensuring the security and accountability of all financial transactions in the company's vault.
MAIN DUTIES:
- Check and balance cashier sheets daily.
- Maintain accurate records of all amounts received in the vault.
- Prepare and record daily lodgments promptly, including all tender types.
- Ensure proper documentation for all disbursements.
- Prepare cashier floats and record both disbursements and recoveries.
- Submit weekly change order requests.
- Check and balance the vault at the end of each shift.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all vault activities and records.
Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 5 C.X.C. including Mathematics and English
- At least 2 years’ experience in cash handling or bookkeeping preferred.
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
- Basic math skills
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Must pass a background check as required by company policy.
