GCG Group Jamaica is a member of the GCG Group which operates in 21 countries across the US, Caribbean, Central and South America. We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated individual to join the team in the capacity of Continuous Improvement Specialist for our Jamaica operations.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and evolve the continous improvement system across business lines.
- Develop and implement training programs on lean leadership, problem-solving and improvement tools.
- Foster collaboration between teams, clients and suppliers to drive operational excellence.
- Support root cause analysis for customer complaints and recommend corrective actions
Conduct internal audits and oversee corrective action plans.
Collaborate with leadership to align improvement initiatives with business objectives.
Document and standardize improved processes to ensure sustainability and compliance.
ACADEMIC & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in process improvement, operations, or project management.
- Experience working in a manufacturing, logistics, or service industry environment is a plus.
- Certification in Lean, Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher preferred), or other relevant methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
