Are you passionate about the livestock and agro-processing industry? Do you have a strong background in sales and market development? We are looking for a Feed Sales Account Manager to drive growth and maximize market share in Grenada and the Eastern Caribbean.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our presence in the livestock and agro-processing industry while ensuring the ethical and profitable sale of our high-quality animal feed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the strategic and profitable sales of feed products, with a focused objective of expanding market share and driving sustainable growth within the industry
- Identify and convert new sales leads using Salesforce
- Track and report sales data
- Manage customer orders, invoices, and exports
- Gather and analyze market intelligence
- Monitor feed quality and ensure adherence to specifications
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve concerns
- Oversee delivery logistics with freight service providers
- Represent the company at industry events and farmer forums
- Conduct market visits to assess customer needs
What We’re Looking For:
- BSc in Business Mgmt., Economics, Agricultural Economics, Marketing or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a sales role (preferably in agriculture, livestock, or agro-processing)
- Proven ability to drive sales and achieve financial targets
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Strong negotiation and market analysis skills
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently
- Proficiency in Salesforce, or similar sales applications is a plus
- Willingness to travel and engage with customers across the region
