Job description – Service Technician

DESCRIPTION:

The Service Technician is responsible for servicing equipment in the fields of scientific, medical, and material testing equipment to a diverse market in the public and private sectors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performs a wide variety of facility maintenance
• Performs routine repair and adjustment of equipment
• Assists with the installation, maintenance, and operation of automated material handling and packaging equipment
• Prepare customer quotes/ Service reports
• Visit New/ Established customers

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a similar capacity
• Technician Certificate/Diploma in Electrical/Electronic or Biomedical Equipment Technology
• The candidate must be able to travel to Caribbean countries
• The candidate must be willing to work and travel between all our offices (Trinidad & Guyana)
• The candidate must possess at least 5 CSEC subjects, including Mathematics and English
• Effective written communication skills including the ability to prepare reports.
• Computer literacy with working knowledge of MS Office
• A good working vehicle will be considered an asset
• The candidate must possess a valid motor vehicle/motorcycle license.
• Foreign nationals must show a valid work permit
