RETAIL BRANCH MANAGER

Tyre Warehouse is seeking to recruit a performance driven, dynamic, creative, result-oriented individual to fill the position of Retail Branch Manager.

Position Summary

The Branch Manager has the responsibility for the overall leadership of the branch, to attain and exceed targets relative to business growth, service delivery, operational excellence and staff engagement while maintaining and adhering to the companies’ policies and procedures.

Responsibility

• Ensure that financial performance of the branch is in accordance with stated objectives
• Create and promote a culture of superior engagement and service for the branch, through continuous motivation, guidance and coaching of employees
• Ensure positive customer relations with timely and satisfactory resolution of issues
• Drive the sales performance of the branch within sales management framework
• Monitor the branch achievements against objectives and report on progress or variances
• Facilitate high staff productivity through implementation of strategies aimed at achieving full potential of staff as well as a harmonious atmosphere within the branch
• Develop and maintain high level of staff engagement withing the branch
• Coordinate and oversee the activities of the branch to ensure the smooth running of the branch
• Implement strategies to identify and mitigate operational risk and to ensure ongoing adherence with compliance policies, procedures and standard of the branch.

Required Skills and Specialized Techniques

• Sound knowledge of the Principles of Organization and Management
• Sound knowledge of Sales and Service Leadership and Management disciplines
• Well-developed Human Relation skills
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
• Well-developed Customer Service Skills
• Unquestionable character and work ethic

Qualifications and Experience

Three years working experience in a managerial/supervisory capacity in a Retail setting

OR

• Tertiary Level education with supervisory or managerial experience, would be an asset

AND

• Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office and exposure to Point of Sale and Inventory Management Software
