• Reports to the Operations Manager • Adhering to all company Standard Operating Procedures and Policies • Report all issues throughout the course of duties in accordance with company policy • Loading, transporting, and delivering items to clients or businesses in an accurate, safe and timely manner. • Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles. • Accepting payments for delivered items and handing over to the office immediately • Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules. • Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record in accordance with company policy. • Operating equipment and machines, such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc. • Keeps equipment available for use by inspecting and testing vehicles; completing preventive maintenance such as, engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotation and changes, wheel balancing, replacing filters and other repairs as instructed and applicable. • Maintains vehicle functional condition by listening to operator complaints; conducting inspections; addressing failures; repairing mechanical and electrical systems malfunctions; replacing parts and components; repairing body damage where applicable and instructed to do so. • Verifies vehicle serviceability by conducting test drives; adjusting controls and systems. • Maintains vehicle appearance by cleaning, washing, and painting. • Keeps shop equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs. • Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt. • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications. • Accomplishes maintenance and organization mission by completing related results as needed
