Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Sort incoming equipment by type. Prepares the dishwasher for the dish-washing function, i.e ensures Maintenance has completed checks and machine has adequate amount of chemical to complete the job.
- Prepares the soak bin with the required chemicals.
- Prepares trolleys and racks for receiving clean equipment from the dishwasher.
- Handles and transports equipment in a manner which would avoid breakage.
- Discards unserviceable equipment as instructed by the Manager/Supervisor.
- Participate in the Company’s mandatory monthly stock count exercise.
- Ensures all HSSE, Quality and HACCP procedures are adhered to.
- Be aware of and comply with all HSE rules and regulations inclusive of PPE, HACCP and Food Safety and Hygiene.
Additional functions to be performed as needed:
- Minimizes waste and ensures all gets recorded.
- Follow all operating policies and/or issues at department meetings
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations. Develop, implement, and maintain safety and quality assurance protocols.
Qualifications & Skills:
- CXC O’ level Certificate with at least Grades I or II General Proficiency in English Language and Mathematics
- At least one (1) years’ experience working in a team-oriented environment.
- Able to communicate in English orally and in writing.
Physical requirements:
The role is required to spend extensive periods of time on your feet, it is recommended to take a few breaks throughout the day by sitting or exercising from time to time.
Travel requirements:
The position requires no domestic or international travelling.
