TELESALES REPRESENTATIVE - KINGSTON
The successful candidate will be responsible for generating sales for the company by closing sales deals over the phone and maintaining good customer relationships.
Other duties/responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Contact potential or existing customers to inform them about products or promotions.
- Answer questions about products or the company.
- Ask questions to understand customer requirements and close sales.
- Direct prospects to the field sales team when needed.
- Enter and update customer information in the database.
- Take and process orders in an accurate manner.
- Handle grievances to preserve the company’s reputation.
- Keep records of calls and sales and note useful information.
Qualifications, Experiences & Skillsets required
ü High school diploma or equivalent or minimum 3 years related experience in a similar position.
ü Proven experience as telesales representative or other sales/customer service role.
ü Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quota preferably over the phone.
ü Knowledge of Point-of-sale system and Microsoft Office Suite and telephone systems.
ü Ability to learn about products and describe/explain them to prospects.
ü Vibrant, Customer service driven with a clear and pleasing voice.
ü Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
ü Cool-tempered and able to handle rejection.
ü Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints.
ü Ability to work well under pressure, responsive, flexible and cooperative.
