Supreme Ventures Services Limited, A subsidary of Supreme Ventures Limited is looking to identify a Financa Officer Treasury to join our dynamic Finance Team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to all clients and personnel. Verifying the accuracy of all transactions and maintaining account integrity, as well as verifying the input into the accounting system. The Finance officer must be goal orientated, self-motivated, having excellent interpersonal skills with effective communications, strong organizational skills and PC skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with the implementation and maintenance of internal controls for Treasury transactions.
• Review and journalize POS transactions for Retail Offices, lounges and SVREL.
• Assist with review and sign-off on invoices re cash disbursements.
• Assist with the reconciliation of current invoices provided by AR with POS float calculated activities.
• Assist with the posting of EDC lodgments
• Assist with cash counts as specified by Assistant Treasury Manager
• Assist with the processing of miscellaneous receipts and processing for lodgment
• Assist with preparation and documentation of cash disbursements to Retail Offices
• Assist in the review of petty cash disbursements and journalize related entries.
• Assist in preparation of bank reconciliations, including credit/debit card reconciliations.
• Assist with the preparation on financial reports as required.
• Assist the Assistant Treasury Manager with the planning and execution of training activities.
• Assist with the filing of all documentation in a cohesive format

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• ACCA LEVEL I or B.Sc. Accounting/Finance from a recognized tertiary institution
• • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience using SAGE 300, an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills required; must be comfortable.

  • Strong listening and comprehension skills, as well as the ability to develop and clearly articulate a perspective.
