
CAGE (Guyana) Inc., is seeking a suitably qualified candidate to fill the position of Dispatcher, according to the following criteria:
Job Summary:
Dispatches route personnel to CAGE Guyana’s VLT locations and inputs computer data relative to same.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of three (3) CXC or GCE ‘O’ level subjects at General level.
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office suite.
- A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a similar capacity.
- Experience entering data in Excel.

- Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Complies with all company policies and GAG regulations.
- Inputs all service calls into a specific excel spreadsheet, inputting data in ALL appropriate cells for all calls being tracked.
- Tracks the activity of all route persons throughout their shift.
- Answers incoming telephone lines and handles all calls according to dispatch procedures.
- Orchestrates service calls to be dispatched in an orderly, efficient manner, according to type of service call and priority locations.
- Recognizes problem situations and responds accordingly.
- Handles emergency situations according to company and dispatch procedures.
- Advises GM, or their designee, if any problems arise or other-than-normal circumstances.
- Assures all route service personnel that break for lunch get their lunch.
- Communicates and responds adequately to the needs of customers and co-workers.
- Understands and remembers all procedure and location changes.
- Possesses knowledge of the layout of the city and the route locations.
- Possesses the ability to listen, hear, and write at the same time.
- Serves as CAGE representative in dealing with route locations; refers all complaints to the GM and the lead route technician/service manager.
