CORE FUNCTION
The Loss Prevention Supervisor will work along with our Security Manager to oversee the safety and security of all persons and assets of the company. The Security Supervisor will assist in monitoring the CCTV cameras. They will be required to log daily activities, help respond to security situations, and assist with investigations whenever an incident takes place.
Qualifications:
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Must be confidential.
• Certification in supervisory management
• Certificate in Leadership Training
• Proven experience as a Loss Prevention Supervisor.
• At least three years of supervisory experience
• Knowledgeable in monitoring close-circuit television (CCTV)
• Excellent People Management skills
• Sound problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Good communication skills
• Critical thinking skills
• Must be able to observe situations and make appropriate responses.
• Must be able to work with speed and long hours.
• Should have previous experience as a security officer or in law enforcement.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Protect the people and property of the hotel.
- Conduct searches in keeping with the Hotel handbook.
- Conduct routine patrols with the contracted security team.
- Respond to alarms and distress calls.

- Maintain law and order in the area of jurisdiction.
- Assists in monitoring the CCTV system on the property.
- Act fairly, handle sensitive information, be discreet, honest, and lead by example.
- Works in the absence of the Night Manager and security Manager as required.
- Screen visitors before allowing them to enter the premises.
- Closely monitor single guests on passes – ensure they follow the hotel’s policies and procedures.
- Ensure persons on passes leave at the specified time – random checks.
- Maintain all security devices and products in good working condition.
- Develop and implement preventative measures against accidents, thefts, and other risks.
- Ensure compliance with applicable policies and regulations while implementing security measures
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
