Damage Assessor

Locations: Kingston & St. Catherine

Job Function:

• Inspection of motor vehicles to determine the overall condition
• Evaluation of motor vehicle damage
• Accurately record data from the vehicle
• Record areas of damage identified
• Creating and adjusting damage estimates (parts and labour)

Minimum Qualifications / Requirements:

• 4 CXC / CAPE (including English & Mathematics)
• Work experience in automotive industry (bodywork in particular) would be an asset
• Work experience as a Damage Assessor / Estimator would be an asset
• Motor Vehicle Repairs (Cars and Light Trucks): National Vocational Qualification of Jamaica / JAGAS Certification would be an asset
• Owning or having continuous access to a reliable motor vehicle would be an asset
• Driver’s license
• Excellent computer skills
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Good time management skills
