Radiographer
Medical Surgical Associates is seeking a skilled and experienced Radiographer to join our dedicated healthcare team. This role is central to our Diagnostic Imaging Department, providing high-quality imaging services primarily in MRI, with responsibilities extending to general X-ray, CT, and ultrasound and Mammography as necessary.

Responsibilities of Position
- Deliver a high standard of imaging services, ensuring operational excellence across MRI, CT, X-ray, and ultrasound modalities.
- Plan, organize, and coordinate department operations to maintain work targets and standards.
- Establish and implement safety standards to protect patients from excessive radiation.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and help develop department policies, standards, and procedures.
- Provide professional and technical advice to other health professionals within the facility.
- Assist in managing the Diagnostic Imaging Department, including operational assistance to the department manager.
- Educate and counsel patients on their imaging procedures and necessary preparations.
- Conduct daily checks, Calibration and periodic tests on imaging equipment to ensure they meet operational safety standards.
- Manage departmental stock and ensure supplies are updated weekly.
- Maintain thorough records and reports, ensuring easy retrieval of patient information.

Qualifications and experience required:
- A Diploma or Degree in Radiography, with certification in CT imaging and MRI.
- Certification in Medical Billing & Coding (CPC, CCS, or equivalent preferred).
- At least three (3) years of post-qualification experience in a similar or related role.
Experience in a managerial role or management training is desirable.
