LOANS OFFICERS- Portmore

Kris An Charles Investments Co. Ltd. has been Jamaica’s premier micro finance company since 1992 and operates twelve branches island-wide. We are recruiting a Loans Officer for our Portmore branch, who is committed to sales, service and success and is seeking a challenging opportunity with a dynamic and progressive Company. Applicants must be highly motivated, passionate about sales and extremely proactive and should demonstrate the ability to build and maintain customer relationships and close sales.

 Qualifications & Experience Required

• At least a first degree in Business Administration or Marketing (completed)
• A minimum of two years’ experience in Sales/Lending
• Must be target oriented with a drive to succeed in the microfinance industry
• Exceptionally talented, energetic, high-performing

Core Responsibilities

• Create and execute marketing initiatives to generate prospects and convert to sales

• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
• Interview prospective customers to determine eligibility for loans
• Process loans on the Company’s loan management system in a timely manner
• Generate accurate loans contracts/documents
• Follow up with loan prospects via telephone, email or other approved methods
• Meet or exceed monthly assigned disbursements targets
• Achieve individual targets for Collection
• Handle customer related matters and escalate when necessary
• Provide recommendation as needed for process improvements
• Any other duties that may be assigned
