Vechicle Serivce Technician

Main Purpose of Job 

Providing service and support, managing all on-site installation, repair, maintenance and test tasks. Diagnosing errors or technical problems and determining proper solution.

Qualification

• A minimum of five [5] CXC subjects inclusive of Mathematics and English Language;
• NCTVET certification in motor vehicle repairs - levels 1, 2,3;
• A minimum of three years’ experience in motor vehicle repairs.

• Ability to work effectively in teams;
• Good interpersonal relations;
• Ability to meet deadlines and milestones;
• High attention to detail.

Key Activities & Responsibilities

• Service Company vehicles on a daily basis (at assigned time) to include but not limited to inspection of engine, wheels, lights, horns, doors, body, mirror, locks, fluids and batteries;
• Address faults and ensure they are reported to the Manager and Supervisors;
• Ensure working area is kept clean and tidy at all times;
• Drive Company vehicles when required;
• Travel to any part of the island to perform recoveries or repairs;
• Ensure proper use and care of Company tools;
• Use initiative to ensure proper servicing and maintenance of Company vehicles and equipment;
• Perform any other related duties within the scope of the job.
