Job Title: General Manager
Location: A Prominent Hotel in Tobago
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee all hotel operations and drive excellence in guest satisfaction, staff management, and business growth. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with a passion for hospitality and a strategic mindset to enhance overall hotel performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Management:
- Work closely with all department managers to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and guest experience.
- Oversee daily bookings and reservations, ensuring guest needs are met.
- Staff Leadership & Development:
- Manage staff rostering across all departments.
- Oversee the hiring and training process for all hotel employees.
- Motivate and lead the team to maintain high performance and service standards.
- Guest Relations & Customer Service:
- Interact with guests along with the Guest Relations team to ensure satisfaction.
- Address and resolve guest concerns effectively and professionally.
- Strategic Growth & Financial Oversight:
- Develop and execute strategies to increase sales and revenue.
- Work with the Accounting and Administrative teams to manage budgets and expenses.
- Property Maintenance & Crisis Management:
- Collaborate with department managers to maintain the entire property.
- Be available 24/7 to respond to urgent matters and problem resolution.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- BSc in Business Management, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proven ability to develop and implement strategies for business growth and efficiency.
