Job Overview
The HR Administration Assistant Manager will assist with overseeing HR administrative functions, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and managing employee records. This role involves handling HR policies, benefits administration, payroll coordination, and supporting overall HR operations to maintain a productive and legally compliant workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, contracts, and HR databases.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and HR best practices.
- Oversee employee onboarding, offboarding, and background verification processes.
- Coordinate payroll processing and ensure accuracy in salary payments and deductions.
- Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, leave, and other perks.
- Address employee queries regarding payroll, benefits, and tax-related matters.
- Provide guidance to employees on HR policies and workplace issues.
- Assist in conflict resolution and grievance handling to promote a positive work environment.
- Support performance management and appraisal processes.
- Optimize HR processes.
- Collaborate with other departments to improve workforce productivity and engagement.
- Support training and development initiatives for employees.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in HR administration, with managerial responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, payroll processes, and HR systems.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in HR software (Abril would be an asset) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM, PHR) is a plus.
