Assistant Spa Manager

The assistant spa manager will be a part of a team that provides guests with the highest quality service and ensures their complete satisfaction with every aspect of their spa experience. He/She will assist the Spa Manager with supervising all Spa employees, including the Spa Supervisor and Spa Attendant(s).

Specific Requirements/Duties of the Position Include:

• Assisting with developing marketing plans that promote the sale of Spa services
• Assisting with developing and managing the departmental budget
• Making recommendations regarding new products and services
• Ensuring that all team members adhere to established policies and procedures
• Ensuring the safety of guests and team members through training
• Assisting with coordinating team member schedules to ensure adequate coverage
• Inspecting spa and fitness facilities and equipment on regular basis
• Ensuring that all staff certifications and appropriate licenses are current and in place
• Submitting monthly operational and financial reports
• Providing operational supplies, equipmentand tools to team members necessary to maintain their areas

Qualification and Experience:

• Certification in Spa Management or related field
• A minimum of three years’ experience in in a similar position
• A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a customer service/sales position
• Ability to work a versatile and flexible schedule based on the needs of the resort, including days off and holidays, if necessary.
• Detailed-oriented with strong project management skills.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills effectively enable dialogue with both internal and external clients.
• Ability to interpret and execute financial statements and tracking documents.
• Proven knowledge in massage therapy, aesthetics, beauty treatment and fitness
