A leading distributor of heavy equipment and machine lubricants, located in Kingston, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Parts and Service Sales Manager to join their dynamic team. Position Objective:
To plan, coordinate, and control all activities within the Parts & Service Sales Department, ensuring the achievement of company business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to meet departmental goals.
- Maintain strong relationships with heavy equipment suppliers and key customers.
- Evaluate and recommend Parts & Service projects, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Monitor and analyze sales activities, trends, and results, providing actionable recommendations.
- Supervise and mentor a team of sales professionals, setting performance targets and providing feedback.
- Ensure the efficient and lawful execution of all sales activities, including documentation and online forms.
- Promote cross-selling opportunities and maintain pre-sales and post-sales relationships with customers.
- Address customer complaints and coordinate solutions with relevant parties.
- Administer sales commissions and prepare reports on goal achievement.
- Participate in supplier, staff, and management meetings as required.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
- Promote a safe and high-performance work environment.
Qualifications:
- Academic Background: Master’s degree in Business or Engineering.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a leadership role within the Parts and Service or Products field. Knowledge of commercial and customer service processes is essential.
- Languages: Intermediate proficiency in English (comprehension and basic oral communication) for effective communication with corporate and other dealers.
- Skills: Strong leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage conflict and drive team performance.
