Core Functions:

1. Plan weekly menu within budgeted guidelines
2. Preparation, cooking and serving of meals
3. The  cleaning and sanitizing of work areas, equipment, utensils and dishes
4. Any other duties as assigned by the manager of the unit.

Qualifications and Experience:

• At least HEART Level 2 certification in HEART Commercial Food Preparation or Equivalent Food course from a reputable culinary training institution.
• At least three years’ work experience in food preparation
• Customer service experience

 Other Requirements:

• Valid Food Handlers Permit
• Good personal hygiene and food safety practices
• Courteous and pleasant
• Computer skills
