Job Title: WAREHOUSE PICKER/ Packer / Warehouse attendant 

Reports: Office Manager/ Warehouse Supervisor

Core Functions:

The Warehouse picker/ Packer is primarily responsible for the smooth flow of the warehouse operation by ensuring that all orders sent in for processing are accurately picked and assembled properly for packers to pack same. See below, full scope of job description.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Picking of goods from shelves sent in by customers and sales reps.
• The accurate checking off and packing of goods to be delivered.
• Write up delivery book with orders to be dispatched.
• Assist with the accounting for invoices sent out on delivery.
• Pull invoices for credit notes and exchanges so same can be done on a timely basis.
• Accurate filing of invoices in their respective folders which should be placed in their respective filing cabinet.
• Write up sales order book.
• Maintain assigned shelves ensuring that low, slow and near expiry date items are reported on.
• Assists with stock taking exercises.
• Promotional activities in the trade on weekends when called upon.
• Assignment for expos on the weekends when necessary.
• All invoices being checked should bear the signature of the person checking it.
• Your assigned tablet should be on loud, checked frequently for orders being sent in and used to check all WhatsApp groups to ensure that all queries are rectified

Education and Experience

• Diploma in Business, Management studies or other business ‘s related studies
• At least 5 years of related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Adequate knowledge of business and management principles  
• Familiarity with industry standard
• Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
• Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
