LOANS OFFICER
McKayla Financial Services Limited a subsidiary of Supreme Ventures Group
The Loans Officer is responsible for greeting present and potential customers on the phone,in the office, and on the road by providing excellent customer service while maintaining the integrity of the loan system.
KEY FUNCTIONS:
- Promote the institution's credit and loan facilities/services.
- Build and maintain relationships, generate prospects, and convert to sales.
- Solicit, interview, and assess prospective customers, (including returning client).
- Exerting due diligence, understanding customer’s needs, and explaining and recommending loan services and products to meet those needs.
- Research/ investigate applicants' financial status, references, credit history to determine eligibility for loans.
- Ensure the completion of all related documents.
- Review and update credit and loan files.
- Secure and file all documentation that are processed daily.
- Update systems provided by company to book all loans accordingly and ensure all entries are complete and correct.
- Ensure all items registered as security against loans are recorded and the originals sent to the safety deposit.
- Ensure all loans placed on the books are accurately completed and presented for checking.
- Perform other duties as assigned from time to time by the Manager.
- Assess and address irregularities.
- Generate relevant weekly/monthly sales report.
- Οperate in compliance with laws and regulations and adhere to lending compliance guidelines.
- Develop referral networks, suggest alternate channels and cross-sell products and services to accomplish quotas.
- Update job knowledge on types of loans and other financial services
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Diploma/Professional certification in Management Studies, Finance or related discipline.
- Minimum experience of 3 years in a finance or micro finance company in similar role
- Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion and judgement
- Excellent Interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Unquestioned integrity and highest ethical standards.
- Energetic, high capacity for hard work and able to manage tight and business-critical deadlines
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent time management skills
