JOB SUMMARY

The Toll & Safety Supervisor (TSS) located at the Toll Plaza is in charge of processing and disseminating the information needed to maintain traffic continuity, ensure personal safety, customer comfort and efficient intervention procedures for the Toll Plaza at which the incumbent is based.

 PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Monitors activities at the Toll Plaza(s) and reports to the Senior Toll Plaza Supervisor/Toll Plaza Supervisor and/or Control Centre conditions during the shift and of any incidents that may have occurred.
• Directs/guides the Toll Collector/authorized Toll Lane Operator’s activities on the toll lane to maintain traffic continuity and customer satisfaction.
• Reporting to the immediate Supervisor and/or Control Centre any situation or development that might require action and anticipating the resources to be implemented. 
• Processes and reports any event or situation requiring special action or vigilance, anticipating the resources to be implemented.
• Participate in internal and external Toll Plaza’s Audit
• Assist in the organizing of files
• Monitors the operations of the systems at the toll plaza.
• Review all vehicle transactions done on a shift via the toll system and completes the Reports and Comments for each Toll Collector/authorized Lane Operator as well as the Sales Agent (the latter where applicable). Anomalies are reported to the immediate Supervisor.
• Signing off on Toll Collectors/Cash Control Agent’s Timesheet
• Check the performance of all the systems making up the toll and safety function (e.g. equipment and Toll Management System), communicating malfunctions. 
• Perform Toll Collection duties upon request of the Supervisor or as needed.
• Any other duties and responsibilities within the scope of the work to be performed.
