About the Role:
As the General Manager, you will oversee the Company’s operations, providing strategic leadership and ensuring the achievement of corporate objectives. This role requires strong leadership, operational expertise, and a commitment to fostering long-term relationships with key stakeholders. Reporting directly to the Group Managing Director, you will lead a team of Department Heads and manage over 230 employees across three locations.
Key Responsibilities:
· Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategies aligned with the Company’s Mission, Vision, and Values to ensure long-term profitability and sustainability.
· Operational Management: Plan and manage operations to achieve financial targets and service quality benchmarks while continuously improving processes and maximizing profits.
· Compliance and Safety: Ensure legal and safety compliance, develop corporate governance policies, and promote a culture of integrity and high morale.
· People Management: Lead and develop the senior management team, implement succession planning, and maintain open communication with the workforce.
· Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong relationships with suppliers, customers, government officials, and other key stakeholders to enhance the Company’s reputation and brand visibility.
What You’ll Bring:
· Education:
Master’s degree in business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
· Experience:
At least 8 years of experience in a Sales or Marketing environment, with 5 years at an executive level.
Experience in Food Service or FMCG distribution is a strong asset.
