Zone Leader - Utilities

To ensure efficient machine availability, by utilizing engineering/maintenance techniques.

Purpose:

Lead the Utilities team to ensure efficient machine availability, by utilizing engineering/maintenance techniques and best practices in accordance with company standards and policies. 

Drive the development and execution of preventative maintenance to effectively protect the state of the assets assigned to the zone, by keeping maximum uptime on their functionality and maintaining integrity on the exterior state of the asset during its useful lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

- Coordinate, schedule and carry out maintenance activities as generated by the CMMS to achieve Machine availability targets as determinde by Upper Management according to DIN 8782 standards.

- Review, recommend and utilize engineering technologies to improve the performance of the equipment and systems within the Zone

- Monitor machine performance to identify root cause for any non-conformances and generate Overhaul Plans to address the  issues.

- Implement routines, systems and technical SOP's to ensure the operating standards of the machines are continuouslt sustained.

- Periodically review the Preventice Maintenance Plan and activities to ensure optimality.

- Review workorders and related reports to verify that preventative maintenance tasks are programmed on time, scheduled accurately and executed in accordance with machine optimal state standards.

- Provide real time support and communication to key stakeholders and execute emergency maintenance activities in the Zone according to specified response times according to company maintenance standards and policies.

- Develop a critical spares parts list and make available to the Procurement Department. The list shoud cover any unexpected events- at least 8 out of 10 instances.

- Prepare and present detailed reports with data defined by the Chief Engineer that shows all the results of the zone and the action plans to improve the performance of it.

- Perform the full rande of Performance Management activities for support staff in accordance with the expcted standards, inclusive of taking correcctive action for non-performance and recognizing top performers in a timely manner.

Requirements:

- Bachelors Degree in either Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronic Engineering.

- Minimum of 4 years experience performing a similar role in the Manufacturing industry

- Project Management Certification

- Boiler, Cooling Tower, NH4 Refrigeration, Air Compressor Certification
