Design and implement data management and analytics systems for our industrial vision platform. This role centers on creating efficient data pipelines and analytics tools that transform manufacturing data into actionable insights. You will work closely with the Product Owner and Scrum Master and provide milestones and the current status for deliverables.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • You will develop our data storage architecture, implementing solutions for time series data, video storage, and analytics results.
  • This involves creating real-time analytics pipelines, building APIs for data access, and developing visualization systems for operational monitoring.
  • You will also implement anomaly detection systems and ensure efficient data retention strategies.
  • Prioritize and translate business requirements into new/enhanced data solutions or services
  • Develop and deploy prototypes and proofs of concept within the infrastructure
  • Thorough understanding of best practices, data modeling/architectural patterns, governance methodologies, and potential limitations within the big data ecosystem
  • Experience with underlying infrastructure for Big Data Platforms
  • Work with data users across to define, evaluate and recommend data solutions via analytics requirements

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, or related field
  • A minimum of 3 or more years of data warehouse design/development/support experience
  • Strong background in Python and SQL, you have hands-on Python programming experience, and other large-scale data processing libraries.
  • You have strong SQL scripting skills, and knowledge of stored procedures, queries, and performance optimization.
  • Experience with time series databases and data warehousing
  • Knowledge of API development and REST principles
  • Understanding of data pipeline architecture
  • Experience with real-time analytics systems
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools
  • You have extensive Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) experience
  • Experience processing, transforming and integrating digital analytics data with Enterprise Data Warehouses
  • You are able to work with, and analyze, large datasets containing millions of data points and optimize access to relational and non-relational data sources
  • Management style that exhibits objectivity, high energy, strategic thinking, collaboration, direct communication and focus on results
  • Strong communications and business expectation management is required
  • Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams to develop recommendations and solutions
  • Strong interpersonal, teamwork and client skills
  • You know how to prepare and present information, options and recommendations to a variety of audiences and provide advisory services on IT-related issues.
  • You demonstrate tact and diplomacy to resolve conflict.
