Warranty Manager

The Warranty Manager will co-ordinate the day to day operational issues surrounding the sale of warranty in Courts stores in Jamaica. While we appreciate all applications only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain a complete knowledge of all aspects of the Extended warranty (EW) product in the Courts, Lucky Dollar, Ashley and RadioShack stores in Jamaica
• Prepare/monitor results of the EW product
• Create and implement new strategies to increase installation sales and revenue
• Monitor effectiveness of marketing material and coordinate changes with Marketing Department.
• Ensure that branches have sufficient Supa Shield materials (POS, Brochures, flyers etc.)
• Create, input, and amend EW prices, codes and descriptions
• Monthly branch visits island wide to conduct monitoring and coaching of Customer Service Representatives whilst providing performance management support to Branch Managers
• Provide support to administrative personnel regarding warranty related matters
• Oversee the introduction and ongoing management of sales incentive programs and promotions
• Liaise with Learning and Development Team to coordinate training and refresher sessions

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS and KEY COMPITENCIES: 

• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related discipline
• A Minimum 3 years’ experience working in a medium to large retail/commercial operation at the supervisory or managerial level
• Proven experience in warranty management
• Knowledge of warranty claims processing
• Ability to analyse sales data
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite
• Problem Solving, Critical Thinking and Analytical Skills
• Strong Positive Values
