The position holder will be responsible for and play a major role in ensuring the operations of the business run smoothly and efficiently. The Supervisor must be responsible for planning and organizing the activities of the Warehouse.

  • Receives and records new inventory as it is delivered; inspects and stores it accordingly.
  • Conducts physical inventory, compares results to computerized inventory, and reconciles any differences.
  • Replenishes stock and inventory as needed.
  • Ensures that all stock is stored in the correct locations in the warehouse.
  • Transfers inventory to trucks for delivery in a timely manner and according to schedule.
  • Schedules materials being transferred to and from the warehouse, and coordinates transfer of inventory between departments.
  • Collaborates with other departments and stakeholders to develop strategic plans and procedures to increase the efficiency of warehouse practices.
  • Monitors expenditures and implements corrective actions if needed.
  • Enforces operating instructions and safety policies.
  • Resolves routine equipment issues.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Ensure warehouse and staff common areas are kept clean.
  • Resolve any arising problems or complaints.
  • Delegate responsibilities to staff.
  • Supervise, coach, and train warehousing staff.
  • Assist in organizing and packaging goods for delivery.
  • Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied.
  • Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles.
  • Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clients.
  • Operating equipment and machines, such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc.
  • Provide temporary services to any Associated Companies, but shall suffer no loss of pay, if such work is in a lower classification than his.
  • Any other and related duties which may arise due to the exigencies of the Company's operations and needs.
  • Daily inspection of the forklift to ensure it is working properly.
