Warehouse Manager

The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the receipt, storage, and distribution of products within the warehouse. They will lead and supervise a team of warehouse staff, ensuring a smooth workflow and adherence to safety and healthy standards.

Position: Warehouse Manager 

Key Responsibilities 

• Oversee and manage all aspects of warehouse operations, including quality assurance, space management, logistics, inventory control, order fulfillment, shipping and customer service.

• Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes and procedures to maximize productivity and minimize costs.

• Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and reconciliations.

• Train, supervise, and motivate warehouse teams providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and adherence to company policies.

• Conduct regular performance evaluations, address any performance issues, and provide coaching and training as needed.

• Collaborate with other departments, such as Purchasing, Produce,Meat, Deli, Bakery etc. to ensure effective communication and coordination.

• Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations and promoting a culture of safety among warehouse teams.

• Prepare and analyze reports on the warehouse operations, inventory levels and performance metrics, providing recommendations for improvement and achievement of targets. 

Requirements 

• Excellent Leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.

• Ability to collaborate and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in warehousing. 

• Proven experience in warehouse management or similar role, with a track record of successfully managing warehouse operations. 

• Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems, processes, inventory management and logistics.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Inventory or related field combined with 2-3 years of Warehouse Management/Supply Chain experience in a Distribution Centre OR  Associates Degree in Business Management combined with 5 years of Warehouse experience.
