Reporting to the Warehouse Team Lead the Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for fulfilling the logistics behind receiving, processing and storing inventory according to purchase orders and inventory policy.

Reporting to the Warehouse Team Lead the Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for fulfilling the logistics behind receiving, processing and storing inventory according to purchase orders and inventory policy. In addition, they will also ensure delivery schedules are met with attention to detail to ensure timely delivery and inventory loss prevention.

 

   Major Responsibilities

  • Ensures load accuracy at check-in and check-out by physically counting and validating against system generated document (SAP & MC1 Load sheet)
  • Completes system inventory movement (SAP Posting) for all products received or dispatched
  • Documents quantity, quality and expiration date of products received from the Parent company (Purchase Orders management)
  • Compares product labels and SKU against Delivery note and Purchase Order to verify accuracy of shipment content
  • Examines products and packaging, for damage, defects, or shortages and record discrepancies using specified sheets and delivery notes as applicable (Supply Review - Heineken & PCJ)
  • Ensures products Loaded and dispatched are in accordance with FIFO
  • Ensures correct loading of merchandise onto delivery trucks
  • Tracks and documents exact shipment arrival and departure times
  • Completes BBE report weekly
  • Maintains Good Housekeeping and Good manufacturing practices.
  • Participates in daily, weekly and monthly stock count.
  • Ensures adherence to all audit policies and standards.
  • Observes and adheres to Occupational Health and Safety best practice
  • Various other duties, as assigned.

  • Strong inventory control skills
  • Strong integrity, dedication and can-do attitude
  • Self-driven individual with strong motivational and people skills
  • Sound Knowledge of warehousing and distribution best practices
  • Sound appreciation for safety and safety culture
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast paced environment

 

Academic qualifications and experience required for the job:

  • Associate Degree in Logistics or Warehouse Management
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a warehousing environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office ( Excel, Word)
  • High integrity

 

Working Condition: (e.g. dust, dirt, heat, abnormal hours, frequent travel, overtime, etc.)

  • Predominantly shifts: 10pm to 6am, 6am to 2pm & 2pm to 10pm 
  • Will be exposed to a Distribution Center & Warehouse environment, at an occasional frequency
  • Frequent to moderate walking short/long distances within the Distribution Center, Office and Warehouse areas
  • Occasional traveling requirements, CBL Head Office and Distribution Center
  • Occasional exposure to forklifts & delivery trucks within the Warehouse area
  • Wearing of appropriate PPE gear required for normal daily function
